Are Your Paperback Books in Need of a New Home?

Converse County Library's paperback Read-and Return is being overrun by romance novels.If you have mysteries, suspense, science fiction, general fiction, westerns, or other genres that are taking up valuable space at your home, why not share with friends and neighbors. Box them up and drop them by the library at 300 Walnut Street in Douglas. We'll see they make their way into the hands of others readers to read and enjoy.

Converse County libraries, through the services of the Wyoming State Library is offering "OneClickdigital" audiobooks, to replace the EBSCO NetLibrary product effective immediately.

To use these new audiobooks, follow these steps:
1. Go to http://gowyld.net/
2. Click on "eContent."
3. Click on "audiobooks."
4. Choose "OneClickdigital."
5. You'll be prompted to start a new account. Once you've done so, you can continue browsing.

Not sure if you want to use OneClickdigital, you can still browse the collection to see if you're interested.

If you had an audiobook account with EBSCO, that service ended November 30.

Ebooks are coming!

Ebooks are coming!

Within the near future, WYLD (Wyoming Libraries Database)member libraries will be bringing eBooks to Wyoming libraries. A contract has been signed with 3M Cloud Library that will allow libraries to purchase titles and offer them to patrons electronically for checkout. Currently 3M works with most eReaders, except for Kindle, but 3M is working with Amazon to expand to their Kindle product line. If you have a Nook, Sony e-Reader, or a 3M model, you'll be set to download and enjoy these books.
