Assistant Library Director
Converse County Library System—Douglas Library


The Converse County Library System seeks a full time Assistant Library Director at the Douglas, Wyoming main library. The successful candidate must be experienced, enthusiastic, organized and possess previous administrative experience as well as a strong commitment to public service and libraries.

Preference will be given to applicants possessing a degree in library science (or equivalent) and three years of progressive managerial experience in public library operations/administration. Candidates possessing an equivalent level of education and experience will also be considered. The position is classified ‘exempt’ with a salary range of $43,500-$49,000 per year. Benefits package includes: health/dental/vision insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, paid vacation and automatic payroll deposit.

Full Time Circulation Clerk
Converse County Library System—Douglas Library


The Converse County Library System is looking for a full time Circulation Clerk at the Douglas, Wyoming branch. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, a willingness to learn internal library operations, the ability to think critically, work with computers, tablets/smartphones, be a team player, and work evenings and weekends. The ability to lift and move up to 75lb is a requirement.

Preference will be given to applicants possessing a library degree from an ALA accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary range will be $23,223 - $29,742 per year based on qualifications and experience. Benefits package includes: health/dental/vision insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, paid vacation, and automatic payroll deposit.
