Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the First Methodist church for Mrs. C.H.B. Crosley, 66, who died last Friday at Memorial hospital. Rev. Kenneth Moore officiated and burial was in Douglas Park cemetery. Mrs. Crosley had been a resident of this community for 35 years.

Katie Alma Sonnama was born Sept. 10, 1886 at Webster Rooks county, Kansas, and passed away at the Converse Memorial hospital March 20, 1953.

Part of her childhood was spent in Orange county, Iowa, with her grandparents. Later the family moved to Kansas where she spent the remainder of her childhood.

She was united in marriage Sept. 23, 1904 to C.H.B. Crosley at Stockton, Kan. To this union was born six sons and four daughters.

She and her ten children were baptized in 1926 by the Rev. J.W. Nayce of the American Sunday School Union. She joined the Rebekah lodge in 1907 at Monument, Kan.

In October, 1917 the family moved to a homestead near Shawnee, Wyo. She lived there until the fall of 1940 at which time she and her husband moved to Douglas. She led an active life as the mother of a fine family and as a neighbor who had many interests.

She is survived by her husband, C.H.B. Crosley; her children, Dell J. Crosley of Brownsville, Ore., Britton H. Crosley of Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Gladys E. Herrick of Anchorage, Alaska, Willard D. Crosley of Olympia, Wash., Mrs. Dorothy Reece of Douglas, Jess M. Crosley of Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Agnes May of Riverton, Wyo., and Mrs. Thelma R. Titus of Amity, Ore.; 26 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Jake Sonnama of Albany, Ore.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Maude Cooper of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Mrs. Mae Dunning of Albany, Ore., Mrs. Florence Ditzman of Moscow, Ida., and three half-brothers, Arnett Clampett of Webster, Kan., Frank Clampett of Roseberg, Ore., and Harold Clampett of Albany, Ore.

She was preceded in death by two of her children, Ernie who died in 1934 and Raymond E. who died in 1951.
