Douglas Budget - May 27, 1992Graveside services for Kenneth G. Baker, 52, were held Friday, May 22 at the Lusk Cemetery with Dan Anderson of the Lusk Branch of the LDS Church officiating.
Mr. Baker died Monday, May 18, 1992 at his home in Glenrock.
He was born Nov. 26, 1939 in Lusk, the son of Clarence and Mae Baker. He attended high school and entered the Navy in 1957. He served as a flight engineer and flew all over the world during his 20 years of service, which included two tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired from the Navy in May 1976.
He married Mary Shannon Davis on March 4, 1963. He later remarried.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn; one daughter, Denise Powell; one brother, Stanton L. Baker, his mother and stepfather, Mae and Claude Shephard of Glenrock; his father and stepmother, Clarence and Ruth Baker of Trona, Calif.; two grandchildren, Brian and Daniel Powell; one aunt, Anna Robertson; one uncle, Melvin Baker and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
