Funeral services for Fay Beck, 87, were held Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Assembly of God Church in Douglas with Pastor Dan Hickman officiating. Interment was in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Beck died Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Michael Manor in Douglas.

She was born Jan. 29, 1899 at Marietta, Ohio to Milford and Ada(Douglas)McKibben. She moved to Wyoming in 1911 with her family and they took up a homestead near Lost Springs. She received her education from rural schools in the Lost Springs area.

She married Myrel Beck on Feb. 14, 1930 in Billings, MT. They lived in Midwest for a short time and then moved back to Douglas, where she resided until the time of her death. The last few years she was a resident of Michael Manor.

She was noted and remembered in Douglas as an excellent cook and seamstress.

She is survived by one sister, Harriette Lester of Billings, and numerous neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who died Dec. 17, 1980; four brothers; and one sister.

Serving as pallbearers were Kenneth McKibben, Albert Meier, Lee McKibben, Danny Cole, Dick Garrison and Harold Troudt.

A memorial to the Converse County Cancer Fund would be appreciated by the family.

The Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
