A Sad Death
Bill Barlows Budget - November 21, 1912Mrs. William Bennett, of Bassett, Nebr., passed away at the hospital in this city Tuesday night, after a short illness. November first she gave birth to a baby boy and apparently was getting along nicely, but Sunday she was brought up from Glendo and taken to the hospital, being in such a condition that nothing could be done for her.
Alice McLauglin was born June 30th, 1889, at Johnstown, Nebr. December 24, 1909, she was united in marriage to William Bennett by Dean Tancock in this city. She leaves two small children, besides a loving husband to mourn her untimely death. Wylda, the oldest child is only twenty months of age, and the baby, Albert Armstrong, is only two and a half weeks old.
The services and interment will be held at Glendo this afternoon, Rev. Zimmerman, of this city, conducting them. The Bennett's live at Bassett, Nebr., but several months ago came to Glendo to visit at the home of a brother, Chas. A. Bennett, and the services will be held at that place.
