Douglas Budget - July 3, 1980Services were held for Woodrow Wilson "Rodie" Brow who died June 18. He was 65 years old.
Rodie was born Aug. 5, 1914 in Converse County, the son of Thornton P. Brow and Ethel Wilson Brow. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
On April 27, 1940 he was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Isaac. Children born of their marriage were Gayle Ulibarri, James Brow and Clay Brow, all of whom reside in Douglas.
Rodie attended rural schools and spent his entire life ranching in Converse County. He was a member of the LaBonte Farm Bureau. He was a man that truly loved his family, friends, the great outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, "Lib", his children, Gayle, James and Clay, and his grandchildren, Shawn and Jimmy Ulibarri, and Shane Brow. Also surviving is a sister, Arvelia Dillon of Colorado and a brother, Charlie Ducheany of Utah plus numerous nieces and nephews.
