Douglas Budget - August 4, 1983Funeral Services for Kamille Ann Baize, age 16, were held Wednesday, Aug. 3, 1983 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Norris officiating. Cremation followed the service.
Kamille the daughter of David W. and Carole Ann Ziegelmeyer Baize was born June 12, 1967 in Portland, Oregon. She moved with her parents to Green River, Wy. in October of 1967, then to Casper in February, 1969; then to Washougal, Washington in December, 1975; then to Rock Springs in June, 1978; and then to Douglas, in October, 1982.
She attended Tongue River High School while living in Dayton and was very active in drama, French club, basketball, volleyball, speech club, choir, and was a cheerleader. She attended the Douglas High School her sophomore year and was active in jazz and mixed choirs. She would have been a junior this fall at the Douglas High School.
She is survived by her parents, of Douglas, one brother, David N. Baize, of Douglas; paternal grandparetns, Richard Baize of Ashland, Ore. and Doris Mosley of Springfield, Ore.; maternal grandfather, Lynn Ziegelmeyer of Medford, Ore.; her paternal great grandmother, Nettie Ellenburg of Springfield, Ore. She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Margaret Ziegelmeyer.
A Kamille Baize Memorial Fund has been established.
The Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
