D.S. Beynon, father of Mrs. Frank Brown, died at the Douglas hospital Friday night after a short illness. Mr. Beynon, with his wife, was here to spend the summer with his daughters. He was in his seventieth year.

David Saunders Beynon was born near Albia, Ia., December 5, 1856. He was united in marriage to Christina J. Corneli, who survives. In 1886 he moved to Nebraska, later engaging in the drug business at Burwell. Failing health forced his retirement from business and he came to Wyoming to spend the summer. Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, all of whom were present at the funeral. They are Mrs. Frank M. Brown, of Douglas, John A. Beynon of Burwell, Neb., Mrs. Fred I. Davis of Glenrock and Mrs. M.A. Blankenship of Los Angeles.

Funeral services were held at the Hofmann Chapel Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Horace Mann. The funeral was under the auspices of Ashlar Lodge of Masons. Mr. Beynon having been many years a member of the order. Burial was in Douglas cemetery.
