Douglas Budget - November 16, 1978Funeral services for Lenora M. Bigger, a former resident of the Glendo community, were held Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1978 at 10 a.m. in the United Methodist Church in Crawford, Nebraska. The Reverend Wesley Milby officiated.
Mrs. Bigger died Nov. 3, 1978, at Crawford. She was born December 29, 1909, the daughter of William and Mary Hughes.
Lenora and her husband, Cliff Bigger, at one time operated the Midway Cafe between Glendo and Wheatland. Later they moved to Glendo where they opened a cafe and gift shop.
Survivors include her husband, Cliff; and three sisters, Marie Ingram of Texas, LaVerne Borthwick of Wheatland, and Wilma Danielson of Grand Island, Nebraska. She was predeceased by a son, Arthur Seaton.
Burial was at the Horseshoe Cemetery near Glendo, Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 7. Houston-Hartman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Members of the funeral group called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hughes following the graveside service.
