Mrs. Baldwin died June 18, 2004, in San Diego, where she had lived since the early 1940s.
She was born May 16, 1921, in Douglas. She graduated from Douglas High School in 1939 and went on to have an exemplary business career, starting as a draftsman with Convair (San Diego) during World War II. Mrs. Baldwin then became the business manager of University of California Marine Physical Laboratory until she retired in 1977.
She was active as the secretary of the Seniors Computer Club and was a member of the USC Retirees Association. She regularly attended Wyoming Pioneer Association meetings in Douglas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.O. and Laura Chambers of Douglas.
Mrs. Baldwin is survived by her husband David Baldwin of San Diego; daughter Laurel of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren Harley Baldwin of San Francisco and Joaquim Baldwin and his wife Michele of Albuquerque; and great-granddaughter Audrey of Albuquerque.
She is to be buried in Douglas at a time not yet determined.
