Douglas Budget - February 13, 1986Funeral services for Kristi Ann Broderdorp, 23, were held Friday, Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Harry B. Randall, III officiating. Interment was in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Kristi died Feb. 4, in a car accident near Buffalo.
Kristi, the daughter of Joseph Russell and Barbara J. (Downey) Broderdorp, was born Dec. 12, 1962 in Omaha, Neb. She came with her family at the age of three to Douglas, where she was raised and educated in the Douglas school system, graduating from Douglas High School in May, 1981. After graduation she attended Casper College.
She is survived by her son, Jacob Schaneman; her parents, Russ and Barb Broderdorp all of Douglas; two sisters, Carla Cox of Douglas and Carol Wortham of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Kurt of Ft. Hood, Tex., and Craig, a student at Central Wyoming College in Riverton; and maternal grandmother, Grace Downey of Joplin, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather. Serving as pallbearers were Chris Offe, Scott Daniels, Brett Hern, Craig Broderdorp, Kurt Broderdorp, and Roy Wortham.
A Kristi Ann Broderdorp Memorial Fund, for Jacob Schaneman, in care of the First National Bank, P.O. Box 1030, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be equally appreciated by the family.
The Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
