Unknown - March 30, 1967Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 22, 1967, at Stark's Chapel, at p.m. for Lillian Brow, who died at the Converse County Memorial Hospital March 19, following a heart attack.
Lillian M. McDonald was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. McDonald April 10, 1889, at Seattle, Wash. She grew up and attended schools at Hartford, Wash. On November 21, 1906 she was married to Godfrey P. Brow at Lake Steven, Wash. They moved to Douglas in 1908 and worked on a ranch, then homesteaded south of Douglas where they made their home until Mr. Brow's death in 1956.
The ranch was sold and Mrs. Brow moved to town, then out to her daughter's and son's-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Amspoker, ranch west of town where she made her home until her death. Mrs. Brow was a quiet, hard-working woman.
Survivors include eight children, Eva Hart; Mamie Collins and Wanda Collins; Alma Tolle; Patricia Amspoker, Donald Stanley and Tom Brow; twenty-five granchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Baldwin, and two brothers, Frederick and Lester McDonald, all of Seattle.
Pallbearers were John Pollock, Jim Willox, Bill Rinehart, Burl Jones, Fred Marburger and Tom Cook.
