Douglas Budget - June 21, 1984Graveside services for Nancy Margot Buchanan, 33, was held Monday, June 18, 1984 at 2:00 P.M. at the Douglas Park Cemetery with Rev. Paul Marler officiating. Interment was in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Buchanan died at her home southwest of Douglas on Wednesday, June 13, 1984. Nancy the daughter of E.L. and Janet Foreman Lindahl was born September 26, 1950 at Lusk, Wyoming. She lived in Lusk until she was 14, at which time her family moved to Denver. She graduated from Ranum High School in Denver. She then attended Regis College in Denver and Northeastern Junior College in Sterling. She was married to William J. Buchanan May 10, 1972 at Hot Springs, S.D. They lived in Akron, Colorado for a short time, and then moved to Wyoming where they worked on various ranches. They have resided in Douglas the past 10 years, and were presently working on the Art Horr ranch.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Bill, of Douglas; son, Elk and daughter, Ta'sina both of Douglas; her parents, Dr. and Mrs. E.L. Lindahl of Denver; and paternal grandmother, Marge Lindahl of Bradington, Fl.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles; her paternal grandfather; and maternal grandparents.
Serving as pallbearers were Jim Young, Steve Werth, Cliff Erickson, Bob Johnson, Steve Park, and Don Brooks.
Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
