SERVICES HELD FOR IDA BJUR
Douglas Budget - August 15, 1968Funeral services were held Saturday, August 10, at 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, Glendo, for Mrs. Ida Bjur who passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Platte County Memorial Hospital, Wheatland, following a heart attack. Officiating was the Rev. James More of All Saints Church, Wheatland. Pallbearers were Everett Engling, Dave McComb, Loyle Millikin, Don Sanborn, Robert Eller and James Wilson. Organist was Janette Chambers who accompanied Judy Langston singing "Beautiful Isle" and "Beyond the Sunset." Interment was at Horseshoe Cemetery, Glendo.
Ida Tullis was born in 1895 at Hebron, Nebr., to Mr. and Mrs. Mack Tullis. During her married life she spent a number of years in the Glendo community. Mrs. Bjur is survived by sisters Mrs. Iva Robb of Glendo; Lucille Tullis, Salem, Ore.; Mrs. Alta Morrison, Salem, Ore.; Mrs. Marie Abbey, Casper; and Mildred Tullis, Wallace, Nebr.; also brothers Carl and Harry Tullis of Wallace, Nebr., and Don Tullis of Pittsburg, Pa.
