Douglas Budget - December 24, 2003Services for Wanda Jane Collins, 85, of Cheyenne, were held Dec. 23 at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne with Rev. Bob Morriss officiating. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins died Dec. 20, 2003, in Cheyenne.
She was born July 29, 1918, in Washington, to Pat and Lillian Brow. She moved to Wyoming as a baby and lived on a ranch south of Douglas. She attended high school in Douglas. On Jan. 13, 1935, she married Glen Collins in Douglas.
The family moved to Cheyenne in 1959, where she resided until the death of her husband in 1977. She moved to Green River to work with her family at the Log Inn Supper Club. She lived in Cheyenne with her daughters for the past seven years.
Mrs. Collins is survived by son Glen Collins of Port Orchard, Wash.; daughters Yvonne Quintal of Cheyenne, Darlene Van Vaulkenburg of Green River and Patricia Camillo of Cheyenne; brother Timothy Brow of Douglas; sister Alma Tolle of Albuquerque, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Collins on May 1, 1977; parents Pat and Lillian Brow; two brothers; four sisters; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robin Zimmerman, Michael Quintal, Jeffrey Wallace, Edward Marron, Jason Collins, David Olsen, Ron Burkett, Larry Fullelman and Chris Trumble. Honorary pallbearers were all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
