Douglas Budget - January 3, 1990Services for Bertha Adelia Brimmer, 79, of Cheyenne will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Chapel in Casper, with the Rev. Jerry Polk of Boyd Avenue Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Casper.
Mrs. Brimmer died Dec. 29, 1989 after a lengthy illness. She was born Nov. 7, 1910 at Greta, Neb. to Edward and Margaret (Bailey) Fowler. She came to Douglas when she was five years old with her parents who homesteaded north of Douglas. She moved to Casper in 1943 and then to Cheyenne in 1979.
Survivors include her husband, Garland P. Brimmer of Cheyenne; three daughters, Joyce D. Hill of Evansville, Joan L. Wehrle of Bethalto, Ill. and Carol D. Borkowitz of Cheyenne; six sons, Daniel W. Wilson, Gerald D. Wilson and Don R. Wilson, all of Casper; Clarence D. Wilson of Billing, Mont., Ralph E. Wilson and Larry E. Brimmer both of Salt Lake City; 35 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Sarah and Mamie, two brothers, Andy and Bill and three infant children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to a nursing home of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Memorials can be left at Memorial Chapel.
