Elizabeth Brady Dies At

Daughter's Home

Douglas Budget - November 29, 1928

Mrs. Elizabeth Brady, widow of the late Philip Brady, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.E. Kimball of Boxelder Park, near Glenrock, November 24. Death came after a brief illness due to advanced years.

Elizabeth Brady was born in the parish of Kilmore, County Cavan, Ireland, September 26, 1838, and came to America in 1864. She later married Philip Brady at Easton, Pa., who preceded her in death at Cheyenne in 1907. To this union nine children were born, six of whom survive her. They are: Mrs. T. E. Duggan of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Mary F. Fitzmaurice of New York City; Daniel F. Brady of Omaha; Mrs. T. Joe (Susan) Cahill of Cheyenne; Mrs. F.J. (Alice) Morris of Denver; Mrs. J.E. (Elizabeth) Kimball and seven grandchildren.

Her sterling character and life-long devotion to the Catholic church, of which she was an active member, will long be remembered by those who knew her. The children were all present at the funeral services, which were held from the St. Marty's Cathedral in Cheyenne Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, with a Requiem High Mass by the Rev. Fr. Hartman. Burial was in the Olivet cemetery.
