Funeral services for Glenn Elaine (Grams)Bright, 76, will be held Thursday, at 2 p.m. at the Converse Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Gregory of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the family plot at the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Glenn died Friday, March 30, 1990 of gunshot wounds inflicted at her home in Douglas.

She was born March 12, 1914 in Keeline, Wyo., the daughter of William Walter and Dillie (Kipp) Dieleman. She was reared and educated in Keeline and Lost Springs areas. Her senior year of high school was at the Converse County High School in Douglas, where she graduated.

Following graduation she attended one year of Normal School. She then taught grade school at the Bear Creek Community in northern Converse County for one year.

She was married to Joseph C. (Hap) Bright on June 19, 1933 in Hot Springs, S.D. They lived on ranches southeast of Shawnee. She moved into Douglas in 1966 where she resided until the time of her death.

She was very active at the Douglas Senior Citizens Center, and she helped with the hunters' dinners at the Shawnee Community Hall. She was a member of the Shawnee Community Homemakers Club, Wyoming Pioneer Association, and the AARP. her hobbies were arts and crafts and flowers.

She is survived by her grandson, Joe W. Bright; great granddaughter, Jessica Elaine Bright both of Douglas; two brothers, Daniel Dieleman of Douglas and Jack Dieleman of Long Island, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Joe Dean Bright on June 8, 1937 and two brothers. Her son Jimmie and husband Joseph died on March 30, 1990.

A memorial to Wyoming Pioneer Association in care of Converse Funeral Chapel, P.O.Box X, Douglas, Wyo. 82633 would be appreciated by the family.
