Henry Alberts Passes Away

Dies This Morning as Result of Stroke; Funeral Saturday

Henry Alberts, 54 years of age, Converse county resident for many years, died at his home at 413 No. Fifth street about 2:30 o'clock this (Thursday) morning. He suffered a stroke Wednesday evening about 9:30 from which he never regained consciousness.

Funeral services will be held at the Hofmann Chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. J. M. Falconer in charge.

Henry Alberts was born in Deadwood, S. D., and when two years of age accompanied his parents to Germany. He returned to the United States at the age of 16. Shortly after his arrival here he received news of the death of both parents. He reached Lusk, Wyo., early in life and worked for Jake Mills for aboht(sic) twelve years, leaving Lusk to work another 12 years at the Mr. Home ranch near Glenrock. About 12 years ago he went to Orpha and has been a resident in and around Orpha and Douglas since that time.

He was married to Mary Rudloff on May 1, 1924.

He is survived by his widow and three children, Lila May, 12 years of age, Henry Eugene, eight, and Robert Allen, four.
