Bunn, Emerson (Unknown - February 16, 1943)

Death Last Week of Early

Day Pioneer

Douglas Budget - February 25, 1943

Glenrock-Word received by Myrtle Sutphin of Glenrock tells of the death of Emerson Bunn, a cousin of the late Charles Rice of that town.

Bunn came to Wyoming in the early days and was well known in this section. He had a ranch on Beaver creek which he sold 46 years ago when he moved to the northwestern part of the state. There he engaged in farming up until the time of his death.

He suffered a stroke in August, 1940, which left him practically an invalid. On February 11th of this year he fell and broke a hip and was removed to a hospital in Powell, Wyo., where he died on February 16. Burial was at Clark, Wyo., last Thursday.

He is survived by four sons and a daughter.
