Funeral services for Emerald Gerald Adair, who died at the Platte County Memorial hospital at Wheatland Sunday, February 13, will be held at the Congregational church Friday afternoon, Feb. 18, at 3 o'clock with the Re(sci) Clyde Thompson officiating Burial will be in Douglas Park cemetery.
Mr. Adair, a retired rancher, had been in ill health for a number of years.
Emerald Gerald Adair was born April 20, 1893, son of John Calvin and Ophelia Pac(sic) Adair, at Montague, Texas.
He came to Wyoming in 1916. On August 28, 1918 he married Emma C. O'Brien. Two children were born to this union, both of whom survive.
Survivors include his wife Emma; daughter, Mrs. A(sic)dolph (Marcia) Amunson of Sacramento, Calif.; son, Emerald James (Bud) Adair of College Park, Ga., and seven grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Marvin Slichter, Otto Bolln, Harold Carothers, Lawrence Philbrick, Don Roush, and LeRoy Lewis.
Honorary pallbearers: Bill Beaver, Charles Slichter, Floyd Bartling, John Poul(sic) son, Lloyd Bruegeman, Gene Payne, Sr., Joe Nowitzski, Lisle Pexton, and Nathan Replogle, Jr.
