Otto Bruns Dies in Veterans

Otto Bruns, 63, popular operator of Silver Spruce Lodge, died Tuesday in the Veterans hospital at Cheyenne after suffering a heart attack Sunday. Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2:00 at the Community church at Glenrock with Rev. Eugene Wilson officiating.

Mr. Bruns had entered the hospital two weeks previous for treatment for lobar pneumonia. he was stricken with a severe heart attack Sunday and Mrs. Bruns went down Monday to be with him.

Otto Bruns was born Feb. 24, 1889, at Milwaukee, Wis., the son of Henry and Dorothy Bruns. He was a veteran of World War I and for a number of years was employed by the Northern Utilities Co. at Glenrock. For the past few years, he and his wife, Julia, had operated the popular Silver Spruce resort in the mountains near Buck's peak.

Survivors include his wife and a brother, Arthur, both of Glenrock.
