Funeral services for M.C."Breezy"Bloem, 75, were held Wednesday, Oct. 29 at the Converse Funeral Chapel with Reverend Robert Nuhn of the Congregational United Church of Christ officiating. Interment was in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Mr. Bloem died Sunday, Oct. 26 at his home in Douglas following an extended illness with cancer.

Breezy was born Sept. 25, 1911 at Glenville, Neb. to Henry J. and May Ellen Blanchard Bloem. He was reared and educated in Nebraska. He has been a resident of Wyoming the past 55 years. He spent most of his working career as a carpenter in the Douglas area. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Breezy is survived by one son, Butch Bloem of Douglas; two daughters, Mona Henson of Douglas and Margo Shoemaker of New Boston, Ill.; one sister, Ruth Krassow of Clarkston, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.

Serving as pallbearers were Andy Henson, Tom Henson, Ben Henson, Jerry Grover, Wes Hineman and Dick Grabow.

A memorial to the Douglas Senior Citizens would be appreciated by the family.

The Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
