Bryant, William "Bill" Keith (November 7, 1966 - April 23, 2009)
Douglas Budget - April 29, 2009"Bill" William Keith Bryant's life was taken on April 23, 2009, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was 42 at the time of his death.
Bill was born Nov. 7, 1966, in Douglas to George K. and Carole J. Bryant. He grew up and attended schools in Casper and Glenrock. He graduated from Glenrock High School in 1985. Bill attended Casper College and graduated in 1987 with an associate's degree in Applied Science Machine Tool Technology. In the fall of 1989, Bill met Samantha "Sami" L. Dionne. They were married on July 14, 1990. During their life together they had three children, Melinda R. Bryant, Rachael M. Bryant, and Mathew R. Bryant and resided in their family home in Evansville.
As a child growing up, Bill possessed a very strong love for cars and trucks, specifically anything MOPAR. His lifetime passion for MOPARS resulted in an eccentric and massive collection of vintage MOPAR vehicles. While not all were perfect, Bill had a plan for everything he owned.
During his life, Bill was employed by Menter Sand & Gravel for a short time as an oiler. Bill went to work for Lufkin Industries in Casper, where he was employed from 1988-05 as a mechanic/warehouse manager. In January 2006, Bill went to work for Rio Tinto Energy America, Antelope Coal Mine as a heavy equipment operator, where he was employed at the time of his death.
In addition to his love of vehicles, Bill also enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, boating, riding four-wheelers, riding motorcycles and off-roading in any one of his trucks.
Survivors include his wife, Sami; children Melinda, Rachael and Mathew; father George Bryant of Gillette; mother Carole Bryant of Glenrock; brother Charles Bryant of Evansville; sister Katherine Bryant of Paris, Mich.; sister Diana Floyd of Cusseta, Ala.; grandma Mildred Bryant of Crawford, Neb.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two grandpas, one grandma and numerous aunts and uncles.
Memorial services to celebrate his life will be conducted at Faith Assembly of God Church, 4301 Casper Mtn. Rd. in Casper on April 29 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tom Strock officiating. Reception will immediately follow at Faith Assembly of God.
In Honor of Bill's memory casual dress would be preferred.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory.
