Officiating was Rev. Bill Moore, formerly of the First United Methodist Church in Douglas.
Masonic rites were performed by Independence Lodge #56 and military honors were conducted by United Veteran's Council. Burial was at Wyoming Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Blondin did at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Casper Aug. 31.
He was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Guernsey to Andrew and Celina(DeFond)Blondin. He grew up in Sunrise and graduated from high school. He worked for Colorado Fuel and Iron before going into the Navy. He served as electrician's mate during World War II.
After the Navy he came to Casper, graduating from Commercial Trades Institute in Chicago. In 1957 he married Edith Anderson in Sanger, Calif. He worked many years as mechanic at Natrona Ford in Casper. He had a bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming and a masters in education from Colorado State University. He taught auto mechanics and electronics at Natrona County High School for more than 30 years.
He was a member of the Shrine Band, Shrine Club (York Lodge), Masons (Blue Lodge), Wyoming Fireman's Association, Mills Volunteer Fire Department, Lions Club, Elk's Lodge, Casper Kustom Kat Club and the National Hot Rod Association. He served as police court judge in Mills and served on the Mills Water Board Joint Powers Board.
He is survived by his daughter Sandra Daughtery of Douglas; sister June Metz of Cody, and grandson, Kelly Daughtery of Douglas.
