Former Resident Dies On Coast
Douglas Enterprise - March 29, 1938Frank E. Bethea of Washangol, Wash., a pioneer resident of this community, died at the home of his son, Fred, on February 28, word has been received here. He was 75 years of age.
In 1887 he lived on the ES ranch on Little Box Elder creek and worked as foreman for Weaver of Cheyenne, a cattleman then owner of the ranch.
Later he moved to Upper LaPrele, and he was proprietor of a restaurant in Douglas. They moved to Washington to make their home. He leaves to mourn his passing, his widow and four sons, all of the state of Washington.
