Dies in Denver

Warren F. Bleecker, 58, father of Mrs. Frederick Clough, of Douglas, died in St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver Saturday at 6 p.m. following an illness since last January.

Mrs. Clough went to Denver Wednesday night and was with her father when he passed away. Mr. and Mrs. Bleecker visited Douglas last summer.

Bleecker underwent a major operation in Boston, Mass., in January. He was taken to his home in Boulder six weeks ago, but was soon taken to the Denver Hospital.

Bleecker was a prominent Republican leader in Colorado, having served as state representative, and in 1932 he was a candidate for the nomination of governor. He was engaged in the manufacture of zero hour bombs for shooting in oil wells.

Besides Mrs. Clough he is survived by his widow, three daughters, his father, a sister and two brothers.

Funeral services were held this afternoon in Boulder.
