Douglas Budget - September 17, 2008Services for 36-year-old Jeffery Alvin Bechtol will be held at Esterbrook Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, with Kirby Kudlak officiating.
Jeff died Sept. 9 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper. He was born Dec. 20, 1971, in Casper to Ida Mae (Johnson) Fowlkes and Stanley A. Bechtol. He grew up in Douglas and Esterbrook areas. He graduated from Douglas High School in 1990 and attended Casper College. Jeff loved camping, hunting, fishing and could fix most anything.
He worked in the oil field and at Plains Tire in Douglas, then moved to Casper and worked for the Eastridge Mall. He later worked for the Platte View Apartments and was working for Brmco Construction until he became ill.
Jeff is survived by his son Jacob of Casper; daughter Melissa of Jackson, Miss.; mother Ida Fowlkes of Casper; father Stanley Bechtol of Casper; brothers Darrin (Suzie)Bechtol and Craig Stinson, all of Casper, and Andy Stinson and Sharon of Carencro, La.; sisters Wanda (Larry) Hall of Dubois, Becky (Mark) Alexander of Douglas and Jeanna Wirtala of Casper; and stepbrothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Eva and Charlie Bechtol of Casper, Hazel (Johnson) Reeves and and Swan Johnson of Douglas, two nephews and stepfather Bob Fowlkes.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice.
