Collins, Anna (Campsey) (April 2, 1882 - June 11, 1968)
Unknown - July 4, 1968Mrs. Anna Campsey Collins, 86, of San Francisco, widow of M.R. Collins, who was the president of the Douglas National Bank, died Tuesday, June 11, in a Los Gatos, Calif. hospital.
She had been in faltering health for some time and came to Los Gatos two weeks before her death.
Mrs. Collins was born in Pennsylvania on April 2, 1882, and lived in Douglas for fifty years. She moved to California in 1950.
She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood in Douglas and of Christ Episcopal church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Bowman of Los Gatos, Mrs. Ada Reed of San Francisco, and Mrs. Elizabeth Carter of Washington; three sons, Edwin Potter of North Hollywood, John Potter of Oregon and Francis Potter of Utah; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Louise Phillips, died in San Francisco in March of this year.
Funeral services were held in Christ Church for Mrs. Collins and her daughter, Mrs. Phillips, on June 14, with interment in the Douglas cemetery.
