Floyd A. Cady died at Rangely, Colorado on March 20, 1972.

He was born on May 14, 1900, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cady in Kansas. The family moved to Wyoming in 1914 and took up a homestead in the Shawnee area.

He was married to Gladys Marburger in Douglas, Wyoming on July 12, 1922. To this union were born three sons; Keith Cady of Midwest, Wyoming; Dean Cady of Rangely, Colorado; Earl Cady of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

They lived at Careyhurst for several years, moving from there to Lander and then to Dinosaur, Colorado where Floyd served as Mayor for many years.

Surviving, besides his wife, Gladys and three sons are one brother, Curtis Cady of Bakersfield, California, two sisters, Beulah Gardner of Sun City, Arizona and Lyola Dooley of Riverton, Wyoming; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marburger and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Marburger of Glenrock attended the funeral services held in Rangely, Colorado on March 23. Burial was in Dinosaur, Colorado.
