Bluford Frederick Cannon was born in Tecumseh, Nebr. March 29, 1874. He died April 28 in Memorial Hospital.

He was raised and educated in Nebr. and moved to Douglas, Wyo. when he was a young man.

He was one of the leading contractors in Douglas for a number of years. Many of the buildings in Douglas were constructed by him, including the Masonic Temple. He also constructed a number of state highway bridges.

He was married in Douglas, April 4, 1911, to Roberta Lee Edwards, and to this union six children were born. One son, Robert, preceded him in death. Surviving children are Mrs. Freda Lee Wulff and Mrs. Betty Smith of Douglas, Wyo., Mrs. Kathryn Johnson and Mr. James Cannon of San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. Rita Sipperley of El Cajon, Calif., 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The funeral was held Friday, May 2 at Stark's chapel with the Rev. F.O. Miller officiating.
