Douglas Budget - August 16, 1951Ivan Milton Crouse, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Crouse, died Aug. 13, 1951 at Deer Lodge, Mont., of a heart attack. He was 49 years of age.
Mr. Crouse came to Douglas in 1917 with his parents and resided in the Dry Creek community and in town until a few years ago when he moved to Washington and later to Montana.
He was a quiet, Christian man and respected by all who knew him.

Funeral services were held Monday at the First Baptist church with Rev. Clyde Thompson officiating, and burial was in Douglas Park cemetery.
In the obituary of Ivan Milton Crouse which appeared in a recent issue of the Budget, the address of his mother and sister, Nora, should have been Fresno, Calif., rather than Freeman, Calif. Mrs. H.O. Peterson of Denver, Colo., should also have been included in the list of survivors.
