Former Douglas Man Is

Buried in Casper

Douglas Budget - January 24, 1935

Thomas A. Clare, who died in Cheyenne last week and whose funeral service was held in Casper Monday, was formerly a resident of Douglas. He was proprietor of the meat market now known as the Washington Market about twelve years ago. He conducted that business for four or five years and then moved to Casper. Many Douglas people remember the Clares. Harold, a son, and Agnes, a daughter, were homesteading in the Walker Creek section about 15 years ago.
