Word was received by William Canaday last Thursday, that his father, Tracy Canaday, died suddenly at his home at Anaheim, Calif. He had been in failing health the past two years, and cause was attributed to a heart ailment. The funeral was held at Anaheim Monday and burial was at Santa Ansa.

Mr. Canaday was born in Casey, Illinois, May 13, 1893. He came to Wyoming in 1918 and established his home in Casper where he was employed by the Midwest Refinery, and later by Standard Oil. In 1942 he was transferred to Whiting, Indiana, where he lived until 1956, when he retired and moved to Standard Oil Co. for about 26 years.

Survivors are his wife and two sons, William, of Douglas, and Robert of Arlington, Virginia. A daughter, Mrs. Duane Manfull lives in Thermopolis.
