Saturday for John B. Corzine
Douglas Budget - August 7, 1980Services for John B. Corzine, 57, of Douglas, were held Saturday at the Bustard Funeral Home with Roy Clark of the Church of Christ officiating.
Mr. Corzine died Wednesday, July 30 at Natrona County Memorial Hospital of a long illness.
He was born September 4, 1922 at Ponca City, Okla. He was reared in Oklahoma and served in Europe during World War II.
On July 5, 1942 he married Mary M. Mitchell at Olkmulgee, Okla.
Following the war he went to work for the Phillips Petroleum Company in New Mexico. He lived in Hobbs, N.M. and Odesa, Texas until he was transferred to the new Phillips Plant in Douglas 10 years ago. Mr. Corzine worked for the oil company for 36 years and was Maintenance Supervisor at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, four children, Belinda Rayes of Gillette, David Corzine of Anchorage, Alaska, Marilyn Farris of Portland, Tex., Margaret Ayers of Palmyra, Mich., two brothers, Roger and Clarence both of Odessa, Tex., a step-mother, Erma Corzine of Oklahoma City and five grandchildren.
Flowers or memorials to the Wyoming State Children's Home in Casper will be equally appreciated by the family.
Burial was at Highland Cemetery.
