Call, Cy (Unknown - February 1, 1986)
Douglas Budget - February 13, 1986Cy Call, 79, formerly of Lusk, died Feb. 1 of complications following an illness at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mr. Call was laid in state at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Des Moines. Services were Feb. 7 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Des Moines and burial was at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Call was born in Manchester, N.H. and lived in Douglas and Buffalo most of his life. He was married in June of 1947 and owned the Buffalo Bar until his retirement in January 1970. Mr. Call was a member of the Congregational Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Mr. Call was a life member of the Order of the Elks in Sheridan and a 35-year member of American Legion Post 13 in Buffalo.
Survivors include a son, Gregory A. of Des Moines, two brothers; Norman of Spearfish, S.D., Juston of Dallas, TX., two sisters; Harriet Thompson of Lusk, Eleanor Johnson of West Lafayette, ID.; three grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 3 step-grandsons, and 3 nieces; Janet Broegger of Keeline, Waive Yager of Torrington, and Judy Jean Simons of W. Lafayette, ID.
