E.M. Cram, aged 79 years, died Monday night, after a long period of ill health.

Edwin Monroe Cram was born at Waukon, Ia., April 29, 1858, son of Willets and Mary Cram. He was married to Caroline Sordey on March 20, 1877. She died March 2, 1878. To this union one daughter was born.

On April 19, 1885, he was married to Lorinda Letherman of Grand Rapids, Neb., and to this union eleven children were born.

He moved with his family from Brocksburg, Neb., to Shawnee in 1916, living on a homestead there for several years, later moving to the Walker Creek Community and thence to Douglas. He is survived by his wife and 10 children, 39 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and a sister.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon, conducted by John J. McIntyre. Burial was in Douglas cemetery.
