SUDDENLY Taken Ill Tuesday Night, End Comes Today
Douglas Budget - June 20, 1935Earl J. Cashner, aged 51, died this (Thursday) afternoon. He was taken ill Tuesday night and his condition became so serious that he was taken to the hospital this afternoon, but he died before reaching there.
Mr. Cashner was born July 27, 1884, at Mendota, Ill. He lived a time in Butler county, Neb., before coming to Wyoming. He entered the postal service in the Douglas post office August 15, 1920, and for many years has been money order clerk there.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Gordon and Keith. Mr. and Mrs. Cashner were preparing to start on a vacation trip to Rising City, Neb., where he owns a farm, when he was stricken with his fatal illness.
