Funeral services for Jill Renea Arnold, 38, were held Dec. 30 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Douglas. Pastor John Thomason officiated. Interment was in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Arnold, a resident of Douglas, died Dec. 23, 2006, at her home.

She was born Oct. 5, 1958, in Derby, Colo., to John and Bonnie Eberly. She graduated from high school in Sterling, Colo., and later received her associate's degree in Veterinary Science.

On Dec. 2, 1976, she married Dan m Arnold. During their 30 years of marriage they lived a number of places between Wyoming and Colorado, but finally settled down in Douglas nine years ago.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of the First Southern baptist Church where she taught Sunday school to the younger children. Besides church, her interests and hobbies included racing her 1968 Camaro down the quarter mile, cooking, gardening, crafting, amateur radio and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Dan M. Arnold of Douglas; children Lisa Smith and husband Jeremy of Douglas, and Kim Davis and husband Danny of Lacy, Wash.; grandchildren Jacob and Shauna Smith of Douglas, and Amanda, Andrew, and Amber Davis of Lacy; mother Bonnie Springer of Sedro Woolley, Wash.; sisters Joy Eberly and Jaretta Justice of Washington, and brother Don Springer of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her father John Eberly and two children.

Pallbearers were Jeremy Smith, Danny Davis, Tom Kerr, Steve Hodges, Les Grantham and Gordon Roe.

Honorary pallbearers were Lida Hodges, Barb Huffman, Candy Yoder, Yelden Yoder, terry Selby and Ann Rex.

A memorial to Ann's Best Care in Douglas or the Casper Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
