Douglas Budget - July 16, 1981Funeral services for Mary Louise Campbell, 59 of Douglas were held on July 7 at the Congregational United Church of Christ with the Rev. Harry Randall officiating. Interment was in Douglas Park Cemetery.
She died on July 2 at the Converse County Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Mrs. Campbell was born Feb. 6, 1922 at Tachonha, Nebraska. She moved to Greeley, Colorado with her family and attended schools there. She married A.O. "Jack" Campbell in April of 1944 and they lived on a ranch near Cheyenne before moving to New Mexico, Nebraska and Gillette, finally coming to Douglas in December of 1964.
She was a member of the Paint Horse Association and past president of the Wyoming Paint Horse Association.
She is survived by her husband, of Douglas; son Mike Campbell of Gillette; daughter, Kathy Hageman of Douglas; brother Dale McCoy of Greeley, Colorado; two sisters Irene Hendon of Sterling, Colorado and Gertrude Rued of Denver; plus four grandchildren.
