Dr. Cantril Passes Away in
Douglas Budget - October 20, 1938Word reached Douglas this week of the death in Portland Wednesday, October 11, of Dr. A.H. Cantril, former Douglas physician of a quarter of a century ago.
Dr. Cantril left Douglas in 1916 and with Dr. C.D. BoDine, also a practicing physician of Douglas in pre-war days, founded the BoDine-Cantril clinic in Portland, Ore. Both were graduates of Northwestern university.
Dr. Cantril suffered a stroke of paralysis a day previous to his death. He is survived by a widow and three children, Albert H. Cantril, professor at Princeton university; Dr. Simeo T. Cantril of Seattle, who only recently was with his father's clinic, and Mrs. Warren Walsh of Syracuse, N.Y. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Frank Cantril of Chevy Chase, Md., a sister, Mrs. C.A. Betts of Chevy Chase, and a brother, Arthur N. of Denver.
