Funeral services for Charles V. Colia, 86, of Bothell, Wash., were Aug. 6 at the Bothell Funeral Home.

He has been cremated and will be interred at Douglas Park Cemetery.

Mr. Colia died Aug. 2, 1996 at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, Wash., after a long and courageous battle with heart disease recently complicated by acute leukemia.

He served in the Army during World War II and at one time was stationed at the POW Camp at Douglas.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife Dessie of Bothell, Wash.; daughter Shirley Jenkins of Louisiana; stepdaughters Minnie Hoffman of Seattle, Betty Wysong Minor of Bothell, and Dorothy Daum of Sequim, Wash.; sisters Josephine D'Agosta, Mary Arena and Connie Saffiote, all of Escondido, Calif.; brothers Ned of Texas, Joe, Bennie and John, all of California; and sister-in-law Elsie George of Douglas.
