Mrs. A.A. Cooper, one of the pioneer residents of Converse county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jams Willox, of LaBonte, Monday evening at 8:30. Death was due to a gradual breaking down incidental to advanced years.

Mrs. Cooper was 85 years of age, having been born in Maine in 1831. She was married to Andrew Cooper in 1854 and they were among the earliest settlers on the LaBonte. Besides her husband she is survived by their daughters, Mrs. James Willox, of LaBonte, Mrs. James Brockway and Mrs. Alex Brockway, of Montana.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Congregational church, Rev. W.K. Weaver officiating. Burial was in Douglas cemetery.
