Funeral services for Maud Sophie "Mickey" Conner, 82, were held Monday, July 20, at the Converse Funeral Chapel with Clarence Bishop of the Glenrock Church of Christ officiating. Interment was in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Conner died Thursday, July 16, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper following a short illness.

She was born Aug. 21, 1904 at Boxelder, to Elias and Mary (Claussen) Hiser. She was reared and educated in the Boxelder area.

She married Harney T. "Tex" Conner Nov. 28, 1922 in Douglas. They owned and worked on various ranches in Wyoming before moving to Glenrock in 1946, where they continued their ranching interests. She had remained a resident of Glenrock until the time of her death.

She was a member of the Glenrock Senior Citizens and the Glenrock Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of Glenrock; three sons, Harney A. "Bud" Conner of Riverton; John W. Conner of Glenrock, and Roy J. Conner of McCook, Neb.; one daughter, Alva Conner Bryan of Albuquerque, N.M.; one brother, Ed Hiser of Glenrock; three sisters, Edna Davies of Douglas, Louise Cromwell of Glenrock, and Mary Mikesell of Heyburn, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; and two grandsons.

Serving as pallbearers were Lawrence C. Smith, Randall D. Conner, Gregory T. Conner, Jonnie Haldle, Kevin J. Conner, and Kris D. Conner.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Dr. William Hinrichs, Dick Strock, Howard Lam, Jim Thompson, and Jim Davies.

A memorial to the Glenrock Senior Citizens would be equally appreciated by the family.

The Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
