Douglas Budget - April 2, 1981Services will be held Friday, April 3 at 1:30 p.m. for Alan Stuart Corley, 59, of Hanna, Corley died March 24 in Las Vegas. He had received treatment as a diabetic for six years.
Corley was born April 24, 1921 in Thermopolis and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He returned to Wyoming in 1945 and made his home in Douglas for 25 years. In 1973 he moved to Hanna where he was employed by the Medicine Bow Company.
He was a member of the American Legion in Douglas, the V.F.W. in Thermopolis, Dusty Riders' Saddle Club in Hanna, Old Timers Rodeo Association and the I.O.O.F.
Survivors include his son, Craig M. Corley of Glenrock; a brother Royal Corley of Thermopolis; a sister, Jean Whaley of Moses Lake, Wash.; a grandson, Joseph Alan Corley, both of Glenrock.
Rev. Harry Randall will officiate at the services April 3. Interment will be in Douglas Park Cemetery.
Corley was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
