Arthur C. Croco of Lost Spring died at the Douglas hospital early this morning. He was brought to the hospital five weeks ago with a ruptured appendix and underwent an immediate operation, but the disease had progressed so far that recovery was impossible.

Arthur Croco was one of the best known and most highly esteemed residents of the Lost Spring community and was active in every movement for the advancement of conditions in his home section. He was born at Argus, Ind., in 1883. He lived in Indiana until 1907, when he came to Wyoming and took up a homestead near Lost Spring, where he resided until his death. He was married in 1905 to Miss Hallie White at Argus, who, with five children, survive him.

Funeral services will be held at the Hofmann Chapel on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Charles Barr of Lost Spring officiating. Burial will be in Douglas cemetery.
