T.M. Cox Dies From Gas Fumes

T.M. Cox, well known cattle man, was found dead in his room at 2308 South Twenty-Fourth street, Omaha, last Sunday morning. Death was caused by gas from a partly open burner on a gas stove. Police, who were called by Mrs. R.W. Reynolds upon finding the body, said that death appeared to have been accidental. The body was sent to Shelby, Iowa, where Cox's wife, three sons and three daughters live.

Cox was well known in this section, where he was a buyer of cattle. He made his headquarters at Douglas while purchasing stock in this county. He was 58 years of age.
