Douglas Budget - August 2, 1989Graveside services were held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Elk Mountain Cemetery with Reverend John Barkley of St. Thomas Episcopal Church officiating, with the Rebekah Lodge #11 assisting. Bea Marie Cheesbrough died July 20 at her home in Elk Mountain at the age of 47.
She was born May 24, 1942 in Wadena, Minn., to Herman and Mamie Florence (Kadell) Pickar. She moved from Douglas to Elk Mountain in 1981. She was an Avon Sales representative for a time.
She married Joseph Henry Cheesbrough April 24, 1981 in Douglas. She was vice president of the Elk Mountain Senior Center and Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge #11.
She is survived by her husband Elk Mountain, one son Michael Sederlund from Ebeleth, Minn., her step-mother Katherine Pickar of Minnesota, brothers and sisters Beverly Davis, Nancy Ketola, Bonnie Nelson, Dennis Pickar, David Pickar, Daniel Pickar, Richard Line, Joseph Pickar all of Minn., and Alva Surla of Nev.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, one sister, and her first husband, Robert Sederlund.
Pallbearers were Dennis Pickar, Daniel Pickar, Joseph Pickar, Rod Surla, Marion Davis, and Glenn Burgett. Honorary pallbearers were all of her friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Elk Mountain Cemetery or the Elk Mountain Senior Center.
Rostad Mortuary of Rawlins was in charge of the arrangements.
