Douglas Budget - December 9, 1992Funeral services for Jerry Bruce Clyde, 36, were held Dec. 4 at the Converse Funeral Chapel in Douglas with Rev. Bill Moore of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Glenrock Cemetery at Glenrock.
Mr. Clyde died Tuesday, Dec. 1, due to injuries received in a car/train accident near Glenrock.
He was born April 7, 1956 at Heber City, Utah, the son of Jack and Colleen (Bigler) Clyde. He was reared and educated at Riverton.
He worked as an oil field laborer for Bob's Production of Casper and Northwinds of Douglas.
He was married to Mary A. (Day) Lykins on Dec. 1, 1989 in Glenrock. He loved to fish, hunt, camp in Boxelder Canyon area, and read.
He is survived by wife, Mary A. Clyde, of Glenrock; three children, Angie Bastida of Glenrock, Jimmy Lykins of Douglas, and Mike Lykins of Glenrock; two sisters, Dixie Trout of Wright and Ginny Russell of Shelley, Idaho; two brothers, Don Casper of Evanston and Kevin Clyde of Shelley; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Serving as pallbearers were Genaro Bastida, Kevin Campbell, Jimmy Lykins, Kevin Clyde, Don Casper, and Mike Lykins.
A memorial to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
The Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
